Tony Saville and I set off early one morning to make the thrilling descent of Gaping Gill pothole.
Bradford Pothole Club set up camp here every year over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
They winch hundreds of people down for a sight of England's biggest cave.
It was a most exciting trip!

We suffered a brisk chimney fire at the beginning of March.
Fortunately the local Fire service were prompt and very efficient.
We were subsequently advised to have our chimney checked.
And here I am inspecting the work!

To discuss top secret family matters I lunched with my 2 brothers and sister in Cheltenham.
We reckoned this was the first time ever we had been alone together!
My sister Chrissie looked after her three brothers very well.
